Tabanda, MD, CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, is the President and CEO of Northwest Expert Coders, LLC - A leading Pacific Northwest-based coding consulting company specializing in coding and reimbursement. Fermin completed his doctrine at Far East University – NRMF, Manila, Philippines. He has worked as a coder and a consultant with various types of hospitals and institutions within the states of Alaska, Oregon, Wyoming and Washington since 1984. Fermin is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

Edward Reyes, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of NEC. Edward currently works fulltime as a Coding Analysis Supervisor at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. He has been coding since 1999. He is also the former president of Seattle Health Information Management Association (SHIMA). Edward is an active member of AHIMA.

Kevin Reyes, RHIT, CPC-H, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of NEC. Kevin currently works fulltime for NEC. He has been in the healthcare field since 1992 with experience in management, coding, revenue cycle, auditing, regulatory compliance and electronic health information systems.
